Engine Oil Monitoring
Every Karma performance model is equipped with an engine oil-life monitoring system. This takes into account miles secured, engine temperature during operation and revolutions performed by internal engine parts.
So, when the oil pan light comes to life, the most prudent approach is to ensure the remaining oil is drained in order to install a fresh supply.
Checking Engine Oil
Even for the most mechanically disinclined, checking engine oil is somewhat of an easy affair. Simply locate the oil dipstick once the hood is opened and remove. Should the oil residue be dark in color, it's time for a Karma oil change.
The same would be true if there's a level of low oil left in the pan. Though always consult with your Karma owner's manual or simply stop by our local Westfield-area Karma service department for a more professional undertaking.
